Kevin Chapman

I started training in Tai Chi (Yang and Chen style) and Qigong in 2013 with a local teacher at the same time I also started to train in an internal style of the martial art Wing Chun. In 2017 I focused more of my training on qigong as I personally found it had more effect on the flow of energy in my body than tai chi.

In 2019 I had the opportunity to re-assess my work/life balance and decided to embark on setting up qigong for health and wellbeing classes in my local area (Fleet, Hampshire) as I wished to share with others the benefits of qigong. During my time studying qigong I always enjoyed the Tai Chi Qigong 18 (Shibashi) forms and, therefore, decided to study the forms in more depth so that I could show others the benefits.

I received my Level I Tai Chi Qigong instructor certification in October 2019 and my Level II Tai Chi Qigong instructor certification in February 2020. In addition to the Shibashi forms I am also certified to teach Ba Duan Jin. I run classes in North Hampshire during the day and the evening.

As part of my own development I continue to attend workshops, seminars and retreats to study qigong/neigong on a regular basis and I also attend internal martial art training classes 3 times a week.
