As a Level 1 Shibashi instructor in Dana Point, Southern California, I have been a practitioner and teacher of qigong and tai chi with training from the international Tai Chi Feng Shui Institute since 2024. I am also an advanced teacher of Hatha yoga, pranayama meditation, and Ayurvedic lifestyle diet and health coach since 2007 with my training from Kerela, India. My vision and focus is to get more young people to practice tai chi as a movement to revolutionize wellness in younger and middle aged folks, get more people educated on benefits of adapting tai chi early on in life (there is a misconception that tai chi is ” too slow, too boring and for old people” – I want to change that!) and continue helping my elderly community improve their quality of life. Coming regularly to my hour long classes lead to numerous health benefits including lowering blood pressure and reducing stress while building muscle strength and improving balance for my seniors. Safety, movement, strength, and inner and outer balance and mental and emotional wellbeing are my main focus areas. I currently teach in and around the Southern California Beach Cities.
